Differential Cover

After driving the truck for the 500mile break-in period for the gears, it was time to change the gear oil. Since I had to take the cover back off to drain the oil, it would be a good time to replace the cover. I looked for different types of covers for the truck. The options were a chrome cover from SSAutoChrome. Which would not be a good choice, since chrome holds in heat, and heat kills parts. A better choice would be an aluminum cover, preferably one that would hold more oil.

The choices in aluminum are:
Expanded oil capacity,  YourCovers.com, Con-Ferr, Off Road Unlimited, Mag-Hytec. - or - 'Girdle' type: TA Performance, LPW Racing.

It just happened that someone ordered a LPW Racing cover at HP Motorsports in Omaha, so I picked it up the day I went to get more Red Line gear oil.
