Finishing up the cage

Over time, I finished up the rollcage. I installed  a swing-out door bar kit from Chris Alston's Chassisworks to make entry/exit easier. I installed the mounts for an aluminum front motor plate, and the mid-mount plate. Once the engine/transmission could bolt in I found out the driveshaft  would hit the lower crossmember for the frame. The crossmember was cut and dropped to allow the driveshaft to pass through that section of the frame. I bolted one of the rusted-out headers that came with the car. The engine now sits a little more rearward than stock, and near the stock height. This will allow approximately 5 inches of ground clearance at the lowest point.

The mounts for the seats were fabricated from flat steel. Then I had to fabricate a place to bolt them to through the floor. The seats are JAZ aluminum high back seats.
