New Front Clip

The new front clip was purchased from Creative Glas Works, Inc in Oneida, TN. While looking through their catalog I also found a 1963 corvette go-kart body. So I ordered one of those also. A big vette for dad, and a little vette for the kids.

The front clip is one for the racing bodies that Creative Glass sells. Since I had been planning a tilt front end, I built a frame to support the front clip. I have a simple slide and tilt setup working, but I need to work the bugs out. The pictures on the right show the car blocked up and a core block on jack stands in the engine compartment.

At this point I have started the roll cage installation. The main hoop, windshield bars, and the rear supports have been welded to the frame. I have also installed the Wilwood front rotors and hubs onto the pinto spindles at this time.
